Hey my 5 readers!
I'm in the market for a new digital camera. Do you like the one you currently use? What do you love about it? I've narrowed in to one I may like, but I would like to hear what you all have to say.

ADDENDUM: I'm currently after a good point-and-shoot camera; something I can carry with me in my purse. Then I'll start working towards the SLR.

how much do you want to spend? SLR or point and shoot?
I would go for the D40-D80 Nikon series. Those are sweet cameras for the price.

I have a Cannon Rebel and love it - but I've also heard that Nikon's are really great (can't remember the model). When I was looking to get a camera several years ago I did a bunch of research (which basically told me the Canon and Nikon were pretty comparable) and then I talked to the photographers at my work and they said, "GET A CANNON!" So I did. :-) I'm excited for you to get a new camera! :-)
